This morning, Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa joined congregants at Eshibimbi PEFA Church in Marama North Ward, Butere Sub-county, for a Sunday service filled with worship and reflection.

Speaking to the congregation, the Governor appreciated the Church for its role in guiding society, promoting unity, and supporting community development. He acknowledged the partnership between the Church and the County Government in building a better future for the people.

Governor Barasa also shared ongoing development in Butere, including the construction of Butere Level 4 Hospital, the establishment of KMTC next to the hospital, operationalization of Ebutunyi Polytechnic, expansion of ECDE centres, and the recent commissioning of the Butere Hatchery Project, which is improving the livelihoods of residents.

He emphasized his governmentโ€™s continued commitment to inclusive development by supporting vulnerable households through social protection programs.

The Governor called for unity and collaboration among leaders and citizens in moving Kakamega forward. Also present were MCAs led by Majority Leader Hon. Phillip Maina, County Executives led by CS Dr. Lawrence Omuhaka, among other senior officials.
